*Primary Responsibilities*:
* Answering new and existing patient calls to schedule them for appointments and answer any of their questions.
* Must be able to manage multiple phone lines.
* Receptionist roles and tasks (if not full-time in the call center department).
* Insurance verification.
* Obtaining insurance prior-authorization for various medical procedures.

* Typical hours are 8am-5pm but more flexibility exists for the part-time position.
*Experience:*
* Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical call center specialist or Medical Receptionist is REQUIRED.
* Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service is preferred.
* Experience with scheduling, insurance eligibility, prior-auth, and referrals are highly preferred.
*Education and License: *
* High school diploma or equivalent required
