Job Description Introduction:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties have played an integral role in the lives of local youth for more than 50 years, providing daily programs and services to thousands of young people.
We are currently seeking part-time, like-minded individual who is as passionate about their profession as BGCSDC is about our mission.
Under the direction of the Club Director, the Outside Front Desk Specialist has the general responsibility to maintain and execute tasks in the lobby and front desk areas.
A great Outside Front Desk Specialist will:
Greet visitors
Ensure members arrive inside the club in a safe manner
Ensure members leave the club with the appropriate caregiver
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be over 18 years of age
1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred
Pass pre-employment background screening and drug test
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook
Belief in the mission, principles, values and standards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County
Must possess excellent leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, teens, parents, local community leaders, schools and community organizations
