Delivery Driver

Edible Arrangements of Sarasota is looking for Part Time Delivery Driver associates who are great with directions and familiar with Sarasota County *Clean driving record* for past 3 years and valid driver license Smart phone with GPS and cell service in Sarasota County.
Available to work anytime between 9 AM to 5 PM (except holidays during which hours vary) Accurately delivers Edible Arrangements products to Guests in an efficient, courteous and timely manner Logs tickets in the computer system and after a delivery using the phone app Organizes most efficient routes Safe operation of delivery vehicles Assist in proper maintenance with vans.
Notifying management of any problems with the van or any scheduled maintenance that needs to be completed Clean the inside of your vehicle each day after deliveries and use time available to occasionally wash the inside and outside of the vehicle Communicate with Customer Service before leaving the location of an unsuccessful delivery Assist the store with any other duties as assigned by the Store Supervisor or Management Each day will be different, so able to respond well to change.
Comfortable speaking with customers.
Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for past 3 YEARS.
- Previous experience in route driving or courier services is preferred- Knowledge of local roads and routes for efficient navigation.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physical stamina to lift objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
*Driving experience of at least 9 years.
Does not need to be delivery driving experience but just driving experience.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating vehicles *Paid Training period is required.
