Driver

Duties: - Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items - Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays - Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries Skills: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Experience operating a forklift or other heavy machinery is preferred - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo - Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards - Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and temperature-controlled transportation is a plus - Strong organizational skills to ensure efficient route planning and delivery coordination - Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
