Delivery Driver/Field Assistant

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Field Assistant to join our team.
We are a commercial flooring contractor and we work on many different kinds of project both big and small.
The person hired for this role will be responsible for loading and transporting materials to the construction site and then off loading the materials.
\*\*\*MUST BE COMFORTABLE IN A 26FT TRUCK.
\*\*\* If no deliveries are taking place there are various field tasks that can be assigned.
A big one would be if our installers are running low on any important supplies that are needed to continue working those items will need to be picked up and dropped off to them.
DUTIES: - Safely transport materials - Load and unload materials following specific handling procedures - Follow delivery schedules efficiently - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns - Maintain professionalism and a good attitude during deliveries and when on job sites - Keep vehicles clean -Keep the warehouse organized -Basic tasks (no skills required) as they are assigned in the warehouse and out in the field QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record NO ACCIDENTS OR TICKETS FOR 5+ YEARS - Ability to drive 26 ft truck and comfortable doing so - Commercial driving experience is a huge plus - Knowledge of warehouse operations and forklift operation is a MUST - Strong communication skills -A willingness to work and a positive demeanor are required \*\*\*Pay is negotiable based on your experience and skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $650.
