OTR Driver (6pm-6am)

*OTR Driver for Sun Protection of Florida* Sun Protection of Florida is a leading retailer of motorized awnings and screens.
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to join our Warehouse Operations team.
This position will be working *6PM-6AM Mon- Friday*.
*Position Overview* The *OTR Driver* will be responsible for driving our *3500 Trucks/Gooseneck Trailers * to and from satellite warehouse locations in Florida area.
Our OTR Drivers are responsible for transporting products to and from the warehouse, while maintaining a clean truck and ensuring that all shipments are properly logged into our inventory system.
This position requires a high level of detail oriented work ethic, great organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities* * Inspect vehicle each day before leaving work to make sure it is in good condition and ready to drive * Report any mechanical or safety issues with the vehicle to the supervisor immediately * Log out to work each day from 6pm- 6am as needed.
This includes loading and unloading trucks, as well as collecting all materials for the next day’s work.
* Maintain a clean truck at all times; pre-trip, post-trip, load/unload inspections, etc.
* Communicate regularly with supervisors about warehouse needs and problems * Perform duties in a safe manner by adhering to all truck driving regulations; company safety policies and procedures.
* Maintain inventory of tools and equipment needed for the job.
* Complete other tasks assigned by management as needed.
