CDL Driver - Transportation/Shipping

Marine Concepts/Design Concepts is looking for an experienced individual to join our Transportation/shipping team.
Job description:· · CDL Class A license required.
· Drive company truck w/ Gooseneck flatbed between facilities (Cape Coral & Sarasota).
Some customer deliveries in other towns.
1 Day trips only/return home nightly.
· Loading and unloading trucks with forklifts.
· forklift experience required.
· creating shipping crates/carpentry skills · shrink wrap experience · knowledge of tying down a load – chaining downloads dunnage on/in trailer · yard cleanup (sweeping, moving parts, stacking) · cutting up parts/plugs by hand to go to dump (knowledge of backhoe a plus) · Be familiar with the proper use of power tools.
· Ability to consistently hold/carry the weight of the equipment required.
· Able to work with lamination chemicals, compounds and waxes.
· Hard working and dependable a must.
· Be able to work flexible hours including 10 - 12 hour shifts.
· Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
· Must possess good dexterity and utilize proper lifting techniques.
· Complies with established safety directives.
· Be able to work outside/inside environments (heat) · Ability to follow procedures and communicate with supervisor, team members, vendors & suppliers.
