POSITION DESCRIPTION SPEC Building Materials Corporation is recognized as one of the nation’s leading wholesale distributors of the highest quality building materials, equipment and products for both commercial and residential roofing contractors.

A SPEC Delivery Driver does so much more than just drive a truck.
They are often our job site representative for the entire SPEC family of associates.
Beyond loading and unloading materials and products, our Delivery Drivers must demonstrate our commitment to customer service and satisfaction, with every load, every day.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES The ability to locate and deliver building materials to job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform pre and post DOT truck inspection.
Properly secure load on truck / trailer.
Daily maintenance and cleanliness of truck.
Safely operate assigned equipment.

: crane, conveyor, tractor-trailer, forklift, piggyback.
Immediately report any unsafe job site conditions or injury to supervisor.
Job site supervision of material handler on roof top as needed.
Strong customer service skills.
Pre and post photographs of job site.
Obtain customer signature on sales orders at job sites.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Valid Class A or Class B Operators License.
Must pass all DOT requirements including physical examination and drug screen.
Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
The ability to lift 80 lbs.

The ability to read, speak and understand the English language.
