CDL Class A - Overnight Driver

*CDL Class A - Overnight Driver* Sutter’s Transport seeks an experienced CDL Class A - Overnight Driver to join our team.
As a Sutter’s driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations.
Sutter’s operates within the food service industry and is a premier dairy distributor and ice cream manufacturer in Sarasota, FL.
The company is expanding quickly and has four interconnected business entities that transport, warehouse, manufacture, and deliver products to our customers throughout the southeast United States.
All loads run with a reefer unit with either frozen or refrigerated temperatures.
*Strategic Priorities for this role:* * Safely operate a semi-truck with a capacity of at least 33,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) * Touch freight deliveries * Transport goods from one location to another, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any issues or malfunctions * Communicate effectively with customers, and other team members * Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and maintenance *We are looking for the following:* * Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record * Minimum of 1 years of experience as a CDL Class A Truck Driver * Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance * Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles * Ability to communicate in English * High school diploma or equivalent *Reports to*: Route Supervisor *Benefits & Compensation* * Pay: $20 - $25 per hour, depending upon experience * Brand new equipment * Health Insurance * 401k with a 3% match * Vacation and Holiday paid time off * Personal Phone Stipend ($20/week) * Product Allowance Credit (Up to $100/month) * Family-Owned Business Culture Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
