Hello Sarasota resident! My name is Tim McNevin.
Four years ago, a colleague and I started our own business called Sunshine Strength and Balance, an in home personal training business which revolves around the functional health and everyday activities of our advanced age clients.
We are both licensed physical therapist assistants, certified personal trainers and have years of experience rehabbing patients in skilled nursing, memory care, independent/assistant living and out patient settings.
The goal for us is to not only improve our clients level of function and reduce pain, but prevent you from ever having to go on a trip to the ER or have to spend months in a skilled nursing facility rehabbing broken bones or torn ligaments due to a fall.
First, we will begin with a FREE consultation and send you an intake form which will state patients medications, medical ailments and past surgeries.
After that, your trainer will call you to schedule your first in home personal training session at your convenient time typically scheduling you 2-3 times a week for maximum progress.
During our first session, we will then go through your specific routine that meets your goals and body needs.
Through the years of doing training, we have developed an arsenal of different exercises and techniques as well as continue to learn or add new ones every day.
Our clients are mainly based at Plymouth Harbor and Long Boat Key so we are flexible with times in those areas.
