Dock Box Washed off Dock in Storm (Bird Key)

Came back from out of town and noticed dock box washed off dock from storm of weekend of December 16th/17th It is locked and was last seen heading south from Bird Key floating in the surf.
It may be in Mexico now or possibly landed on Siesta Key some where.
I would like to have it back.
It has several life jackets and my fishing tackle box used with my children.
I figured it is a lost cause especially with my sending out notice 10 days later
