The Financial Management department consists of the budget and procurement divisions for Manatee County.
The Budget Division manages the operating and capital improvement budgets, infrastructure sales tax revenues and conducts financial analysis for all county departments.
The Procurement Division oversees the purchasing for all county departments and divisions.
The Fiscal Services Manager Compiles reports for Director or Division Manager related to expenditures, budgets, revenues, statistical information, and programmatic cost data in order to advise the director on departmental operations and develops departmental fiscal controls and procedures; reviews internal and external audits, coordinates activities, and assists with implementation of corrective action when required.
*NOTE: This position has been designated by the Manatee County Commission as serving at the will and pleasure of the County Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, management, or related field.
Minimum of five (5) (within the last 10) years’ experience in a responsible position involving financial management and planning.
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
In accordance with area of assignment, valid driver's license with valid Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Desired Skills
Prior related experience in a governmental office highly desired.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
