* Bayview Surgery Center is currently seeking a full-time experienced RN/Surgical Technologist to join our Team.
The RN/Surgical Technologist will Assist with surgical procedures, Patient care and the preparation pf any tools or instruments used during the procedures.
RN Responsibility's include :
* Responsible for all aspects of patient care
* Assesses the physical and emotional status of the patient in preparation of the planned procedure and in preparation of discharge
* Review, acknowledge and implement pre op and post op orders
* Administer Medications as ordered
* Initiate IV's pre operatively and remove post-operatively
* Organize time, equipment and supplies to provide effective and efficient case management
*CST Responsibility's include:*
* Checks supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure
* scrubs, gowns and gloves
* Sets up Sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment and medications/solutions for medical procedure
* Passes instruments , etc, to surgeon during the procedure
* Maintains highest standard or sterile technique during procedure
* prepares sterile dressings
* Assists other members of team with terminal cleaning of Room
* Helps transport patient to recovery room
* participates in quality assurance actives
* Maintains courteous relationships with families, physicians , vendors and other personnel
*Job Requirements: *
* RN License
* Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program
* Certification by the American Association of Surgical Technology
* Experience (at least one year) in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital
* Operating room experience in a variety of surgical procedures: Pain, GI, Cardiology, and ophthalmology
*Physical Demands:*
* Required to be able to withstand long and strenuous periods of work, which include extensive walking, standing, and varied body motions.
* Be able to lift/push up to 50lbs
This is a Duel role , Hours may vary
