About this opportunity:
Assists store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items while operating and maintaining a cash register.
May receive, sort, price and prepare donated items for display in the store.
Key responsibilities:
• Collects monies, counts change and prepares receipts
• Maintains the neatness and security of the cash register area
• Places and arranges items in the store as directed
• Answers the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner
• Assists in warehouse with donations as instructed
What we are looking for in you:
• High School Diploma or G.
E.
D.
AND
• 1 year experience working in a retail store and 6 months on a cash register OR
• any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal store environment and warehouse where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather.
