```Duties```
- Develop and implement engaging and enriching activities for seniors in a nursing home or assisted living facility
- Coordinate and schedule a variety of social, recreational, and educational programs to meet the diverse needs and interests of residents
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, including personal care, mobility assistance, and medication reminders
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of residents
- Plan and organize special events and outings for residents, such as holiday parties, field trips, and entertainment performances
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities and document any changes in behavior or health status
- Offer support and counseling to residents and their families regarding aging issues, memory care, and transition to long-term care
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of ADLs (activities of daily living) and familiarity with nursing home or assisted living regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with seniors, their families, and staff members
- Understanding of social work principles and practices related to aging issues counseling
- Ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
