Parts Associate needed for our busy Pro Shop Parts Counter at Sunset Chevrolet.
We're growing and looking for one more team member to add to our professional team.
Previous auto parts experience required.
Dealership experience helpful, but all automotive experience considered.
GM Automotive Parts Associate Duties
As a Pro Shop parts sales representative, your primary responsibility is to work with our valued clients to find the GM parts they want and need.
Clients will be contacting you primarily by phone and in-person to find what they need for their General Motors vehicles.
You will help them by looking-up the correct parts for their application, determining availability, and selling the best parts for their situation.
Auto Parts Counter Associate Requirements
As an established department with many solid players, we are willing to take on someone new to the dealership world.
Some automotive parts sales experience, however, is required.
Specific parts counter requirements include:
Previous experience researching, pricing and ordering automotive parts
Great customer service skills and a professional, approachable demeanor
Solid automotive knowledge and ability to read and understand diagrams
Must have great reading skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
Flexible to meet demands of very busy Professional Parts Department
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
All candidates must have a valid driver's license and verifiable work history
