*General Summary:*
The Development Associate, Data Integrity processes gift entries and acknowledgements, manages contact preferences, runs financial and internal development and event reporting, coordinates pledge tracking and payment schedules, and benefit fulfillment, and tracks all event RSVPS.
*Job Duties: *
· Processes contributions and writes timely acknowledgements
· Adheres to strict cash handling procedures, using discretion with confidential information
· Maintains primary responsibility for the Development Department’s Tessitura database, ensuring accuracy of data, running lists and extractions, and continually researching and implementing new aspects of the system
· Controls contact management preferences
· Establishes automatic analytic reporting in Tessitura and pulls lists and extractions when needed
· Coordinates monthly accounting reconciliation between development and finance departments
· Coordinates benefit fulfillment of donor programs
· Tracks Development Department invoices for financial reporting
· Communicates with and follows the guidelines set down by Asolo Rep’s Tessitura Governance Committee, especially as we migrate to version 16
· Maintains information about event attendees, sponsors, in-kind donors in Tessitura
· Assists with the planning and coordination of donor and sponsor hospitality at performances, which requires occasional night and weekend commitments
*Qualifications:*
·Minimum 2-3 years experience.
Outstanding customer service orientation and interpersonal skills; ability to cultivate positive relationships
· Experience working with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, preferably Tessitura and computer skills using Microsoft Office
· Detail-oriented and highly organized
· Self-starter with high initiative, but willing to ask for direction when needed
· Open to and reacts positively to change; willingly takes on new challenges
· Project management and planning skills
· Extremely polished and professional demeanor
· Able to work effectively in a collaborative, team environment; is willing to assist others
· Experience working with donors and non-profit organizations
· Able to lift 25+ lbs.
· Must be flexible in working long hours, including nights and occasional weekends.
It is understood that with additional job responsibilities, working more than a 40-hour work week may be necessary.
