You will be responsible for managing global customer accounts, securing customer’s satisfaction, delegation of customer needs into the organization, contract negotiations and engaging customer for new projects.
Primary Responsibilities Support existing and new customers with full service Keep contact to all operative customer structures and key decision makers Coordinate customer communication (rolling forecast, blanket orders, complaint management (NC), supplier reviews) Create and implement a strategic account development plan: Strategic customer observation and analytical evaluation, active initiation of necessary measures; identify customer’s pain points, and communicate internally Forecast and Funnel management: Identify new project opportunities (SALESFORCE; ERP) with existing and new strategic accounts Price maintenance and contract negotiations; prepare quotes and proposals, subject to the guidelines of the company.
Coordination of customer project tasks (NPI, SICR, RA) in collaboration with internal departments Identify sales opportunity in new strategic OEM accounts.
Create and implement a strategic account development plan for each new account.
Become the subject matter expert in products and effectively present the value of the products to all customers.
Work effectively with Product management and engineering resources to define and develop custom products for OEM accounts.
Develop metrics that can be used to evaluate supplier performance within each account.
Coordinate information globally with sales representatives as needed with OEMs with global footprint.
General Tasks Maintain compliance with the quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
Adhere to the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies Broad and deep functional experience.
Typically acquired through 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
Degree in Engineering is a plus Requires extensive research, in-depth knowledge, and creativity.
Requires that complex problems are anticipated, identified, defined, and resolved.
Recommendations made by others are analyzed in order to solve issues bearing broad and long-term impact.
Complex and varied problem-solving requires extensive diagnosis.
Incumbent acts as advisor to less-experienced personnel.
Required to train others.
Exercises primarily technical and some process leadership.
Work requires advance knowledge of several specific fields of knowledge related to one of the company’s major business functions or of customer’s business requirements, specialized knowledge of product design and process management methods is also needed.
Travel Requirements Travel by public transportation including train and airplane on demand Passport for international travel (customer & internal meetings) Physical Requirements Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
Ability to use vison to read computer screen and read printed materials Compensation and Benefits The base pay for this position ranges from $85,000 -$120,000 USD depending on the geographic market Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of variable compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
