Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the Palmetto, Florida office/2-days remote.
Candidates must be local or relocate to be considered for this role.

As an integral member of the Finance Team, the Accounting Manager is responsible for the global Accounting and Accounts Payable teams.
The Accounting Manager will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Accounting and Finance.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the monthly close according to the agreed upon timeline Review balance sheet reconciliations timely Produce audit ready financial statements monthly Oversee operating effectiveness of controls in the areas overseen Manage coordination of financial results with other departments Manage and oversee the annual US and International audit process Manage the Accounts Payable team to ensure proper classification/recording date of invoices and payments are made within agreed credit terms with vendors Manage Staff Accountants to 1) ensure operating procedures are being followed, 2) methodology of workpaper preparation is appropriate, 3) journal entry preparation and reviews are done correctly and 4) review of reconciliations are in accordance with GAAP and consistently executed.
Monitor and reconcile sales orders between Exigo and NetSuite to ensure completeness.
Identify opportunities and areas for improvement within the Finance team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, inclusive of 1-2 years in a managerial role overseeing an accounting team.
Experience with multi-currency books and multiple consolidations.
