As a Project Manager/Administrator IV -Utilities Division of Capital Projects you will be responsible for overseeing capital improvement projects across the enterprise including management of manpower assignments, budgeting, and expense monitoring/accounting.

Manage and lead capital and operational type projects within the Utility Construction group.
Directly responsible for the oversight of multiple construction contracts and projects at any given time.
Respond as County representative throughout construction regarding issues and is responsible for implementing County direction through contractual procedures.
Manage construction contracts to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and ensuring design and construction standards are adhered to.
Develop and maintain project cost estimates and monitors CIP project expenditures.
Review and authorize progress payment requests.
Reviews CPM schedules from contractors.
Perform constructability reviews of plans and technical specifications, provides analysis of TMs and PDRs in accordance with Utility Code.
Prepare project related correspondence and utilizes eBuilder for document repository.
Update monthly schedules of assigned projects and provides management team with project status, information, and presentations.
Resolve customer complaints and contract disputes.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Coordinate with other agencies for permitting and project certifications with Procurement to prepare solicitations for Professional Services: reviews proposals.
Prepare and present selection matrix to PSRC: facilitates discussions of contract scope, budget, and schedule with selected consultant for services during construction ensures contracts include all necessary work scope to complete construction of presentations as needed.
Provide owner-department with turnover package at completion of projects.
Prepare Board presentations for construction contracts and/or project updates.
Prepare public outreach media during construction phase of project.
Act as a technical mentor to peers and seek out and assist other departments by sharing technical expertise and providing guidance to managers, directors, and County Administration.

About You
To thrive in this position, you must have-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field and seven (7) years related CIP experience.
Master’s degree may substitute for one year of required experience.
Project experience can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis depending on the type of experience.
About Everything Else
Starting Pay Range: $73,964.
80 - $99,860.
80 based on experience.
Position Pay Range: $73,964.
80 - $125,756.
