*Job Summary* The Fire Sprinkler Assistant will perform project related tasks as directed which will include operating pipe machine, pipe installation and operating other related construction tools/equipment.
*Duties include, but are not limited to:* * Responsible for assisting on assigned project tasks as directed by the Lead Technician * Will operate company tools and equipment including a Ridgid 300 pipe machine for pipe grooving and threading * Will be required to join pipes utilizing basic pipe joining techniques * Maintain equipment, supplies and company vehicle (if supplied) in good working order * Ability to work non-standard hours as required by the job or project * Performs additional duties as needed *Qualifications and Education Requirements* * Basic plumbing knowledge preferred, willing to train candidate with limited experience * Working knowledge of basic pipe joining techniques * Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment * Possess valid Florida Driver’s License and a clean DMV record in accordance with company policy * Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel (Google Docs and Sheets) * Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills * Needs to be comfortable with heights, as the position will require the use of ladders and lifts.
