JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist in identifying the required supplies for smooth operation.
The materials head entails assisting in planning, controlling, analysis, and efficient distribution of goods and services.
Works hand in hand with the company’s purchase and production units.
The material head helps the company to attain both its long- and short-term general goals and makes sure that the company’s supply chain is functional at every given point in time.
Must be able to orchestrate deals that ensure the inflow of materials into the company so that products/services will continue to flow out of the company, ensuring a steady inflow of income.
The material management oversees the responsibility of planning and coordinating the procedure of purchasing material.
The material management head is also in charge of the development of requests for both equipment and inventory items.
Align himself or herself with the company’s goal, mission, and vision.
The Material Management Head will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversees and provides the supply needed for metal, cable, connectors, and packaging department.
- Collaborates and plans together with the purchasing department and the warehouse manager for warehousing bulk item products.
- Works hand in hand with other managers and unit heads within the company to determine the company’s supply needs.
- Maintain existing relationships between the company and its vendors.
- Supervise available stock and or inventory and prepare reports for company top management.
- Carry out surveys and search for credible suppliers that are up to the task.
- Negotiate with suppliers, place orders for materials on behalf of the company, and make sure that orders are delivered when due.
- Train newly recruited staff within its departments.
- Monitor inventory and release of supplies within the company to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain and manage the equipment inventory list and assets.
- Maintain well-detailed records of any form of orders and purchases that are made by the company.
- Work hand in hand with the system analyst to ensure proper and efficient inventory software design and application.

of Operations and Manufacturing for qty of stocking inventory items, stackable items, and consumable items.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32,000.
00 - $45,000.
