General Labor We are seeking motivated, dedicated individuals to join our team! Windward Design Group is a true 'Made in the USA' outdoor furniture manufacturer located by the SRQ Airport.
Job Functions: Ensure that all manufactured components are consistent with company established goals for quality and production fulfillment Assemble parts to complete final product in accordance with quality standards and customer selections Visually inspect quality of finished components to ensure that the product meets specifications Transport materials in and out of area according to production schedules Perform other related tasks including but not limited to performing housekeeping tasks required to keep the work area safe, clean and organized Qualifications and Attributes: Ability to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals Demonstrated ability to operate related machinery in a safe and productive manner Use and Knowledge of manufacturing techniques Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner Basic Math Skills required Ability to properly read a tape measure Experience with chop/table saws, screw gun, tape measure, and other hand tools Carpentry experience/skills is a plus Ability to Read, Write and Comprehend English Physical Requirements: Sitting less than 1/3 of day Standing more than 2/3 of day Talking/Hearing regularly less than 2/3 of day Reaching frequently over 1/3 to 2/3 of day Use of hands to finger, handle or feel frequently over 2/3 of day Lifting frequently over 25 pounds, occasionally over 50 pounds Working Conditions: Indoor loud, factory environment.
Work space is not climate controlled and temperatures may be considered extreme at times.
