OVERVIEW
Ruff Life Farms, LLC in Bradenton, FL has an opening for a part-time Property Maintenance Technician.
This position shall maintain, support, and develop multiple properties.
The position is hourly (per day) as needed and is considered independent and not an employee.
This position is eligible for conversion to Full-Time Employee Status under certain circumstances.
Conversion to Full Time Employee status is conditional upon exceptional performance for no less than 60 days.
Conversion to Full-Time status is not guaranteed.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide general property maintenance of multiple properties.
• Participate in new Construction as required.
• Perform maintenance on HVAC, Pool Systems, Electrical, Water, and Septic systems.
• Identify and schedule areas in need of maintenance/repair.
• Processes work orders and maintenance requests daily.
• Works safely and diligently with the team supervisor and all outside vendors
• Provide support to physical security systems such as fencing, walls, etc
• Conduct trash removal weekly
• Provide support as needed for landscaping and grounds maintenance
• Clean and maintain all equipment
• Clean and organize all workspace
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of vehicles, boats, trailers, RVs etc
• Diagnose and Repair electrical issues, plumbing issues, HVAC issues
• Create and maintain processes, procedures, and checklists
• Retrieve mail and packages as delivered.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisors.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Some experience and knowledge in residential plumbing (city and well)
• Some experience and knowledge in Electrical both residential and commercial
• Some experience and knowledge in framing/woodwork.
• Experience in general handyman work
• Experience using tools, trackers, and lawn equipment.
• Some knowledge of Manatee County and Florida Building Codes and knowledge of where to look up code.
• Demonstrated knowledge of job site safety.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Must be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours on occasion.
• Must be able to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Must have attention to detail, take pride in completing assigned tasks, deliver excellent service, and organizational skills.
• Must be honest and have exceptional work ethic.
• Ability to stand, reach, and continuously walk during the assigned shift.
• Must be able to perform full shifts outdoors frequently.
• Must have the ability and willingness to learn enhance skillet and learn new skills.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must be local within 25 miles of work location
