Steel Fabricator/Welder

* Able to read shop prints and perform layout on various structural shapes.
* Must be able to pass an in-house 1G FCAW welding test.
* Operate warehouse forklift to move pieces from one fabrication station to another throughout the manufacturing process.
* Align and fit parts to spec using the proper tools, including hammers, pry bars, wedges, and other appropriate tool selections.
* Use squares, levels and other measuring tools to confirm that all parts are manufactured to specifications.
* Uphold workplace safety expectations and aid in team accountability for safe workplace practices.
* Worker who can stay busy and keep on task is a must.
* Applicants whose car breaks down twice a week, doesn’t show up to work the day after payday, cannot arrive to work on time, has six grandmothers pass away in a calendar year, or no sense of humor need not apply! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
