Cabinet Assembler

American Outdoor Cabinets is looking to grow our cabinet assembly and shipping team.
The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for the final stage of the cabinet manufacturing process ensuring the product is ready for inspection and delivery.
You will learn assembly, quality control, problem solving, and more.
Additional responsibilities will include preparing and shipping our product to all parts of the United States.
ASSEMBLY • Able to read and understand sketches, shop prints, and packing slips • Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time • Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task • Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product • Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied SHIPPING • Prepare orders by processing packing slip orders by customer; pull cabinets, hardware, and accessories; placing all orders in delivery area for pickup • Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers • Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize breakage • Ensure that incoming and outgoing inventory and shipments are as secure and well-organized as possible ADDITIONAL • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments • Meeting commitments and obligations to organization such as coming to work on time, communicating issues from shift to shift through their organization and to their supervisors • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations • Willingness to learn and grow through on the job training Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
