Powder Coat Lead

*Powder Coating Lead* *Position Summary:* The Powder coating Lead is responsible for monitoring the overall operation of various components of the powder coat paint line including the shot blast, primer, care and top coat process.
They are responsible for meeting the production goals as well as the maintenance to be completed.
*Duties and Responsibilities:* Has knowledge of all operations on the line including, but not limited to, shot blast, care and top coat.
Manage timelines and established production quantities Responsible for learning and using Gema equipment.
Ability to meet the production schedule.
Knowledge and adherence of all Quality Control requirements.
Understand and follow all safety procedures.
Maintains cleanliness and process controls.
*Skills and Specifications:* Good communication skills.
Ability to train other employees.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Solid problem-solving skills.
Ability to contribute and work in a team environment.
Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure first quality of work.

Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.
*Education and Qualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
2 – 3 years’ experience in powder coating, 4 years’ experience preferred.
