As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards before they are released to customers.
Your role involves performing various tests, inspections, and evaluations on raw materials, components, and finished products to identify any defects or deviations from specifications.
You will work closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies to verify compliance with quality specifications and standards.

Perform in-process inspections during manufacturing to identify and address any deviations from quality standards, ensuring that products meet quality requirements at each stage of production.

Conduct final product inspections to ensure that finished goods meet quality specifications before they are shipped to customers.

Utilize various testing equipment and tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing machines to perform quality assessments.

Record and analyze test data, inspection results, and quality metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
7.
Document and maintain quality control procedures, protocols, and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
8.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
9.
Provide training and guidance to production operators and other personnel on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
10.
Support internal and external quality audits by preparing documentation, conducting inspections, and addressing audit findings.
Qualifications and Skills:
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
* Proven experience working in quality control or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Proficiency in using measurement and testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel software.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections and tests.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality-related information.
* Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards (e.
