We are looking for a dedicated Journeyman Plumber like you to be a part of our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
A Journeyman Plumber is a skilled worker who is an expert at working with any manner of plumbing in commercial and industrial settings.
The journeyman plumber’s responsibilities include installing new plumbing systems, drainage systems, and gas lines, clearing blockages, and maintain and repair existing systems.
Journeyman plumbers should be experts regarding pipes, fittings, and all manner of plumbing fixtures.
Must be able to work on weekends and evenings and participate in an on-call rotation.
Perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs, in a complete and timely manner
Document all work performed in HCA’s CMMS system
Clearing blockages from fixtures, branch lines, and main drain lines utilizing motorized equipment
Estimates the quantities of materials needed to complete work assignments and requisitions them properly.
Assist with putting any ICRA provisions in place
Assist facilities with general maintenance activities as needed
Evaluate facilities for optimal performance on all plumbing systems
Ability to diagnose, service and repair plumbing equipment for commercial, industrial, and medical facilities
Prepare field reports (e.
g.
, investigation summaries) summarizing analytical results and generate appropriate documentation in accordance with HCA-specific requirements
What qualifications do you need:
Licensed Journeyman Plumber Required in state of employment Required
Minimum 5 years relevant experience Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment Preferred
Medical Gas Certification, ASSE 6010 and 6040 Preferred
