We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Irrigation Maintenance Technician.
This position would be responsible for the installation, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of underground sprinkler systems.
This position requires knowledge of underground sprinkler systems.
This job requires physical abilities such as physical strength, manual dexterity, and wrist-finger movement in order to perform the essential functions of the position.
The irrigation technician performs detailed monthly irrigation inspections, notes deficiencies, and makes approved repairs as needed.
Troubleshooting and irrigation system retrofits knowledge are required.
COMPENSATION:
Competitive Pay: $45,000-$65,000 a year

Qualifications
Possess a valid Florida driver’s license is required
High School diploma /GED
Experience as an irrigation technician for 2-5 years
2 forms of ID required
Able to communicate in English both spoken and written
Able to lift 50 lbs.
or more
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions if it’s safe
Duties and Responsibilities
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Conduct scheduled monthly irrigation inspections
Ability to troubleshoot wiring issues
Ability to upgrade existing irrigation systems
Ability to install new irrigation systems
Complete paperwork in an orderly and timely manner
Maintain vehicle and equipment clean and in good working order
Communicate with managers daily before and after the job completion
Work independently or on a team as required
This is a full-time position.
