Position: Electrician Apprentice
The electrical apprentice partners with a licensed journeyman electrician and receives on-the-job training (OJT) on the way to becoming an electrician.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
Work in ground digging, or from heights on ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications.
Fasten small metal or plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
Conduit bending and circuitry work
Job Requirements:
Motivated and receptive personality.
High school diploma or GED.
Reliable transportation.
At least one year of experience, preferred.
Valid FL driver’s license.
Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
Good coordination, physical fitness and dexterity.
Ability to visually differentiate wires by color.
