*Job description*
We have an immediate opening for a Finish Stair Installer/Service Technician.
This position will install finishing materials to both open rail and enclosed stairs in new home construction.
The ideal candidate will reside between SouthTampa and Sarasota to cover the entire territory.
This position will also make service calls to homes, and complete punch out or QA jobs for new home construction that is still under warranty.
Technical Requirements:
* Perform warranty service work: stairs skirt boards, open rail, spindles, treads/risers, etc.
* A good understanding and knowledge of finish carpentry.
* Understand submittal data and construction documents.
* Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints.
* Competency in general computer applications: Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
* We use Sure-Tight fasteners on all stair systems
* Our Stair systems include: Open rail – With various types of newel post and baluster options.
Full oak treads – Open miter and hybrid options.
Various types of Iron and Wood Baluster Custom systems include: Curved and bendable Rail and Winder Treads
*Job Requirements:*
* Good communications skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to climb stairs on a regular basis
* Good organization skill
* Attention to detail
* Able to work with people from different backgrounds
* Excellent work ethic
* Must have dependable work truck
* Must have own tools: air compressor, miter saw, nail gun, screw gun.
