We are looking for Form Carpenters/Finishers for our Construction Company located in Bradenton, FL.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in Heavy Civil and/or Industrial Construction.
We would prefer that our candidate know how to use many different form systems, tie rebar and finish concrete.
Adaptability is the name of the game as you will do many perform many different tasks when it comes to working with us.
You must also be able to pass all required pre-employment screens including a background check with MVR (driving record) and eleven-panel drug screen.
Some projects require TWIC (Transportation Worker identification Credential).
Applicants must also be able to provide reliable daily transportation to and from work where hours are early morning through the afternoon, Monday through Friday (varies slightly by project and season).
However, due to the industrial nature of our clients and projects, candidates must be able to work when scheduled overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours.
Based on project location, some travel may be necessary.

Major Responsibilities:

Reports all accidents or injuries immediately upon occurrence to their supervisor.
Reports for medical treatment as directed.
Refrains from any unsafe acts that may endanger themselves or others.
Reports any unsafe conditions or unsafe personal acts to their supervisor immediately.
Participates in an accident investigation as requested.
Wears appropriate attire and footwear for the work environment to be encountered.
Utilizes personal protective equipment as required and maintains it in a serviceable condition.
Installation of forms for placing concrete and grout.
Assists with the proper installation of reinforcing, anchors and imbeds.
Is familiar with all safe work practices for hand tools and power tools if trained.
Knowledgeable of elevations and has ability to help shoot grades.
Uses Levels: site, laser, transit etc.
Accurately measures, cuts and installs materials.
Assists with concrete placement on footings, walls, flatwork and grade work.
Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
2-5 years of industry experience.
Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: methods, techniques, materials, tools used in carpentry installation, maintenance, and repair; and safety practices and procedures.
Good communication and organization.
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
