Are you a skilled carpenter with experience in laying concrete and utilizing software systems to design and produce specialized parts? Our Twins Lake Park is currently in need of a Maintenance Technician II who will work with the supervisor to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with all regulations and ordinances, working with either contractual or in-house staff.
This position starts out paying $21.

Perform advanced finish carpentry including, but not limited to, framing walls, installation of doors, cabinets, hardware and fencing.
Plan, layout and construction of assets to include, but not limited to, two pole shelters, picnic pavilions, small buildings, boardwalks, pedestrian bridges and kiosks.
Operate the CNC machine to produce communications approved signs.
Utilize software to design and reproduce unique historic parts and fabricate broken or missing components that have become difficult to acquire.
Restore detailed finish carpentry on historic buildings and sites which will involve matching the right lumber species, paint, and coatings.
Plan, layout, and form concrete to include, but not limited to, footers, foundations, floors and sidewalks, playground equipment and associated walks and surface materials.
Record and compile data.
Plan and apply for building permits, right of way use permits, and inspections.
Work together and communicate with contractors to ensure timely completion of work, monitoring for code compliance.

About You Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Three (3) years of experience, education, training or any combination with concrete and/or carpentry experience.
Valid Florida Driver's License by date of hire.
Physical Demand(s): may occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
