00 annually * *Benefits Can be Provided through Payroll Company* *Schedule* * M-F 7:30-4:30, with an hour lunch *Responsibilities* * Handle accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes * Perform data entry tasks in QuickBooks to accurately record and maintain daily financial transactions * Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations * Collect outstanding debts from clients and follow up on overdue payments * Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner * Manage payment processes, including making vendor payments and processing employee reimbursements * Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies * Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning * Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement * Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations * Collaborate with the office manager to support general office operations and administrative tasks * Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both physical and electronic * Provide support during audits and assist in preparing required documentation * Stay updated with relevant accounting laws, regulations, and industry best practices * Fulfill the responsibilities of a full-time bookkeeper and office manager, managing both financial and administrative tasks efficiently *Our Hiring Process* Fill out the simple application A recruiter will reach out promptly for a prescreening call If we are a good fit for each other, they will schedule an in-person interview with the hiring manager We will make an offer if you are a good fit *Job requirements* * QuickBooks expert with in-depth knowledge and proficiency in using the software is required * Desired relevant experience of 10+ years in bookkeeping, preferably with experience in construction bookkeeping * Must be authorized to work in the US.
