The role of the PM/PA is to lead the project team under the guidance of and in collaboration with the Partner and CE in the effective and efficient delivery of a The Project Manager is responsible for producing high quality construction documents per Harvard Jolly | PBK Standards.
The Project Manager will participate in all phases of the project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
The Project Manager is responsible for the performance of the production team working underneath him or her.
The Project Manager is to ensure timely project completion within budget constraints in accordance Harvard Jolly | PBK’s quality and client service standards.
Your Impact: Direct, contribute, and coordinate production of construction documents and specifications in compliance with Harvard Jolly | PBK standards.
Organize and direct the architectural and/or engineering teams to execute the work in an orderly, timely and coordinated manner.
Ensure that project meets the budget goals and schedules set by the client.
Coordination with government agencies, utility companies and resolve plan check and approval issues with the agencies.
Must exhibit strong knowledge of Florida Building Codes and can ensure compliance.
Supervise and manage Project Architect and the project team to ensure high quality construction documents.
Mentor junior staff with responsibility oversight of their assignments.
Ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Maintain positive client relationships throughout projects and keep client apprised of project progress on regular basis.
Provide technical advice to the project team.
Support Client Executive and/or Principal Architect in supervision and delegation of work.
Lead Construction administration jobsite meetings with contractors and owners.
Here's What You'll Need: Professional Degree in Architecture required, Florida registration a plus.
Minimum of 5 yrs.
credible knowledge of building systems and methods of construction Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit experience a plus, with a professional attitude.
Experience in coordination with engineering disciplines Must be focused, organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize.
Positive Attitude Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as effective client contact and business development, are also a plus.
