Description
Under in-direct supervision be able to support and maintain Manufacturing Equipment and ancillary support equipment.
This includes but is not limited to; Working closely with Technical Service Manager, Tooling Engineer, Machinists, Manufacturing/Quality personnel and Maintenance Mechanics to conduct and document daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance on manufacturing and support equipment and fixtures in accordance with the Quality System standard operating procedures and established work instructions completed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and document daily, weekly, monthly and annual preventive maintenance and work orders on manufacturing and support equipment and fixtures in accordance with the Quality System standard operating procedures and established work instructions.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures that result in equipment downtime.
Utilize outside vendors if necessary to reduce equipment downtime.
Order and maintain the inventory of components and spare replacement parts to ensure manufacturing operation minimizes downtime.
Capable of preparing, executing and documented results of equipment and process validations (I.

Assist in performing calibrations to appropriate production equipment.
This would include equipment or processes requiring time, temperature, pressure, etc.
inputs or outputs.
Meet or exceed quarterly departmental goals and objectives.
Understand and follow all departmental SOP’s.
Document and report any process deviations to team leader.
Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures.
Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards.
Assist and support other team members as necessary.
Generate, document and follow to completion Process Improvement plans.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
AA Degree, Technical/certification training from an accredited external source or equivalent knowledge.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintain CNC controlled equipment.
Previous experience in diagnosis and repair, preferred.
Previous technical training by an accredited external source.
Excellent technical aptitude, flexible schedule and record keeping skills.
Good interpersonal skills and basic knowledge of computers and associated software.
Ability to make technical decision under in-direct supervision
Train level 1 & 2 technicians.
