Ardurra is seeking a Florida Licensed Surveyor (PSM/PLS) to join our survey team in Tampa, Sarasota, or Cape Coral, FL.
as Project Manager.
Primary Function
Manage the full life cycle (proposal-research-schedule-execution/control-delivery) of surveying projects.
This includes managing all activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, budget, quality control, communications, resources, procurement, safety and risk elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility.
The Project Manager’s overall objective is to build and maintain a positive client relationship, deliver a quality survey product on time and budget.
Primary Duties
Participate in project costing and bid preparation to the extent required.
Review assigned projects after award to determine work procedures/sequences, develop schedules, budgets, and billing.
Maintain communication to keep interested parties informed of project planning, start date, work progress and delivery.
Oversee field crew work and CAD drafting work and that responsibilities are assigned, and that tasks are on schedule.
Review, sign / seal and delivery of survey product consistent with FL Statutes, client expectations and best surveying procedures and practices.
Maintain a continuing business relationship with clients.
Requirements
Professional registration in the state of Florida (PSM / PLS).
Prior job experience preferred in the areas of civil infrastructure, roadway, water/wastewater, ALTA/ACSM, construction layout & as-built, platting, or some combination thereof.
Experience managing, leading, and motivating a team and finding / maintaining client relationships is valuable as well.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Budgeting skills including proposal development and project management accounting.
Ability to work with, motivate and lead teams of field and office personnel.
Experience preferred with the use of both traditional (total station, GPS, level) data as well as LiDAR, photogrammetry or other remote sensing data sets.
Positive attitude and ability to manage work/life balance.
