Job Summary: The primary role for an Account Manager is to acquire new commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by developing relationships with owners, facility managers, and management companies.
An innovative, goal-driven sales professional will sell preventative maintenance agreements, controls maintenance agreements, and / or Energy Service Agreements to key decision makers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Developing and closing new agreement sales opportunities
• Identify potential opportunities with existing and new customers
• Responsible for developing sales leads, qualify prospects, make sales calls, negotiate, estimate, bid, propose and close jobs and contracts at qualified margins
• Closing sales opportunities
• Prospecting and networking
• Managing the relationship with current clients
• Delivering sales presentations
• Cold calling and prospecting
• Help with customers issues when asked (retention, billing, etc.
)
• Promptly respond to “agreements at risk” salvage situations
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role
Strong communication, planning.
And presentation skills
Solid computer skills, especially CRM, Word, and Excel.
