Here are some specifics on what we’re looking for in this position:
Requirements:
Familiarity with Procore & MS Office.
Basic blueprint reading skills.
Basic knowledge of construction methods and terminology.
Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction:
Assist in setting up projects in Procore.
Help with subcontractor communications and proposal reviews.
Support permit submissions and tracking.
Assist with subcontractor procurement.
Assist in managing RFI and submittal processes.
Construction:
Keep track of outstanding work and purchase orders.
Participate in project kickoff meetings.
Attend weekly project meetings and manage meeting records.
Join on-site walk-throughs.
Help manage project health metrics.
Support the change order process.
Assist with subcontractor and owner billing.
Contribute to punch list resolution.
Post Construction:
Participate in project postmortem meetings.
Work on final close-out tasks with the project team.
Required Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Construction Management/Building Construction or Engineering.
Good interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to maintain strong relationships.
Organizational & multi-tasking ability.
Analytical & problem solving ability.
Tenacity & follow-through.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint).
Must have a good command of the English language, oral and written.
Must have own vehicle for frequent travel (job-related mileage will be reimbursed).
Must have clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background screening.
Must be able to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders.
