Installation Technician Lead

The Installation Technician Lead is responsible for assisting the Installation Supervisor with directing and coordinating the overall residential service Installation activities for a team of Installation Technicians.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Installation Supervisor with team management, training, effective resource utilization and ensuring sufficient skills, training, and equipment are available for installation technicians to successfully complete installation orders and trouble tickets in timely manner.
Assist with the safety and associated duties pertaining activation and maintenance of services.
Assist to ensure that commitments to customers are met and following up to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Assist with the application of adopted company policies, operational practices and coordinating training to enable successful service installations.
Assist with the accurate and timely installation of all company offered products.
In the Installation Supervisor absence, work closely with dispatch to coordinate daily activities in the assigned area.
In the Installation Supervisor absence, work closely with the NOC on escalation of trouble issues.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum of three years’ experience in installing and testing cable, phone and internet.
Must have active and clean, non-restrictive, state issued driver’s license in Florida.
Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights.
Experience with fiber optics.
