Staff Accountant Arboreta Healthcare LLC Job Summary: Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements.
Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and other sources.
Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports, verifying information.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts.
Reconciles Subsidiary to General Ledgers monthly.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
Prepares schedules and reports for Annual Audit Education and Experience: Reporting Skills PC Proficiency – Microsoft Excel & Word, Excellent Verbal and written Communication, General Math Skills.
SAGE experience preferred.
PCC experience preferred.
Skilled nursing or related healthcare experience preferred.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
